• Restructuring of indirect rate structures to improve the competitive posture of organizations and to more closely align indirect expenses with their management structure.

  • Managing and assisting a client submit its first proposal to a contracting opportunity with the Center for Disease Control.

  • Workshops for not-for-profits who have either won, or are considering bidding on US government contract/subcontract opportunities. The focus of these workshops goes beyond the regulatory requirements to address the operational impact on their organization.

  • Workshop and problem solving for a for-profit who is new to implementation of contracts in developing countries.  This also includes advice on roles and responsibilities within the organization, as well as      providing tools to facilitate timely submission of office reports and to help minimize risk.

  • Workshop at an international organization's regional conference whereby training on Federal Rules and Regulations was the subject matter, but the goal was to advise how field offices could better work with headquarters and how headquarters could better support field programs and operations.

  • Site assessments of organizations' field operations in order to streamline operations  and strengthen internal controls. These assessments included training in government regulations and donor relationships.

  • Revision of a not-for-profit's policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OMB Circulars and the Federal Acquisition Regulations.  This engagement also included recommendations for better business practices and system improvements.

  • Facilitating a senior management staff meeting of a for-profit on the topic of roles and responsibilities, and risks and rewards of USAID/CDC/DOS contracts.

  • Assisting in the development of corrective action plans for an organization who has been the subject of multiple USAID/DOS field assessments and audits.
